The Greatest Tomato in the World

Gardening work is quite often portrayed
As a doing that brings serenity
But it has never been the case for me
Unless my crop can be proudly displayed
This time I slaved, I cried, suffered and prayed
I wanted to impress with a veggie
Produced right here on my territory
So I relentlessly dug and spaded
My efforts paid off, and now I must go
around the world to show this prettiness.
Its shape and shade amaze, so does its glow
One thing I am afraid of I confess
Is to try the taste of that tomato
I couldn’t bear its ordinariness
